The FFA Member Leadership Series will empower students with new knowledge and skills that they need to be confident and capable leaders – both in their chapters and beyond.

Big Bend Community College - March 7 & 8, 2025

FFA Advisors: The link to register will open on January 13. Each chapter is limited to registering a maximum of 8 students total for the event. Information related to hotel options and waiver forms will be made available on January 13.

Registration Deadline: The registration link will close on February 15.

Cost: $35/student and $20/adult. Two meals will be provided to registered participants (dinner on March 7 and Lunch on March 8).

There will be 3 conference tracks available this year. Please register your student for the one that most aligns with their experience level.

Grades 7 and 8 students will experience the “We AreConference.

  • State Officer Workshops: Students will have the opportunity to connect with the state officers on Friday of the conference.

  • National Staff Workshops: Students will participate in a modified version of the Connect Conference on Saturday.

Grades 9 and 10 students will experience the “Connect” Conference.

  • Connect: Students will be introduced to the theme of the conference and evaluate their role in helping others feel connected.

  • Why: Students will analyze why an effort to connect with others must be made and who that effort will be applied towards.

  • How: Students will discover tools and processes to cultivate healthy connections.

  • Unhealthy Connections: Students will categorize the connections in their life and practice navigating unhealthy connections.

  • Influence: Students will examine the relationship between trust and influence.

  • Plan: Students will review the content from the previous sessions and leave motivated to create change

Grades 11 and 12 students will experience the “I Am” Conference.

  • Identity: Students will be introduced to the theme of the conference and summarize their self-concept.

  • Goals: Students will use identity-based goal-setting principles to determine who they want to become

  • Habits: Students will use the habit loop to provide them with actionable steps to accomplishing their identity-based goals

  • Priorities: Students will use their identity goals to prioritize their time

  • Balance: Students will evaluate how balanced their lives are using the wheel of life.

Hotel Options

There are two hotel options for FFA chapters planning to stay overnight. WA FFA received a great group rate of $110/night for a double queen or 1 king with pullout at both hotels. Each chapter is responsible for making their reservation and arranging for payment with the hotel. Reservations must be made by February 14 using one of the links provided.
